Prices quoted include delivery within the UK. Shipping outside the UK is possible and will be quoted on request.
I require a 50% deposit before I start work, which is non-refundable. I will invoice you the total cost, showing the deposit amount, before I begin your portrait. Once the portrait is complete, I will send you a final invoice and this should be paid within 5 days. I will send you the portrait within 2 days after I have received cleared payment.
Clients can pay via Paypal or Bank Transfer.
As the artist, I retain copyright on all the portraits I draw and paint. I normally will display commissioned work on my website, and clients who do not wish their portrait to be displayed should notify me when ordering.
I will only use images of commissioned portraits to promote my services, and will not reproduce it to make a profit.
The client, not having reproduction rights, must not reproduce, or let anyone else reproduce, the work without my prior written consent.
Clients are responsible for the photographs provided as reference. If the copyright doesn't belong to the client (i.e. if someone else has taken the photograph), clients must obtain copyright permission for me to use the photograph as a reference image.
You can see my current turnaround time on my main commissions page. This can change quite quickly depending on time of year and other commitments. I will give an estimate of timescale when you are ordering. Clients must let me know if there is a specific date the portrait is required for.
Unless otherwise agreed, portraits will be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day or International Signed For. In the unlikely event that a portrait is damaged in the post, I must be contacted immediately. Clients must keep all packaging and contents and make a note of the damage. Damaged portraits must be returned to me at the cost of the client and I will complete another portrait free of charge.
